LUMENE Group participates in humanitarian aid by donating hygiene and cosmetics products to Ukrainians. 

The exceptional situation in Ukraine has aroused a huge desire in the people to help both the civilians on-site and the refugees arriving in Finland.

Many who have fled Ukraine to Finland, have left with light luggage. The need for clothing, food and toiletries is strong and growing. LUMENE Group has decided to support these families with product donations through Apuna ry, which operates in the Helsinki metropolitan area and helps low-income families and children. The donation includes LUMENE and CUTRIN hygiene and cosmetics products, such as facial cleansers, hand sanitisers, hand cream, shower gel, shampoo, day and night creams and makeup products. In the coming weeks, Apuna ry will deliver the goods directly to families in the Helsinki metropolitan area, and elsewhere in Finland through volunteers.

LUMENE Group also participates in the initiative of Hartwall family, where product donations are delivered on-site to Ukraine and passed on to those in need through local aid organisations.

In early March, LUMENE made a € 100,000 cash donation to Ukrainian children and families through UNICEF.
