In-house production

Our local production and in-house product development, based at our headquarters in Espoo, Finland, are at the heart of Lumene Group. By keeping manufacturing in-house, we maintain full control over quality, sustainability, and speed, enabling agile decision-making and rapid response to market needs. These strengths set us apart from competitors.

Over 80% of our products are made in our own facility in Finland, where we produce 17 million beauty products annually. Local production, combined with Nordic ingredients, drives our product development decisions alongside consumer insights and global market trends.

To strengthen our operations, we have recently invested in modernizing our production facility, upgrading production technology, streamlining manufacturing and planning processes, and enhancing supply chain transparency through digitalization. These initiatives enable efficient, end-to-end supply chain planning and operations, supporting our growth and long-term success.

Long term supplier relationships

At Lumene Group, we believe strong partnerships are essential to a well-functioning supply chain. That’s why we work in close collaboration with our material and service providers, building long-term supplier relationships based on trust and shared values.

All our direct partners commit to the Lumene Group Partner Code of Conduct, covering important topics such as business ethics and integrity, labour and human rights, health and safety measures, environmental consideration, due diligence, and prevention of child labour and forced labour. While most of our suppliers are located in Europe, certain raw materials, especially chemical ingredients, are sourced globally to meet the highest quality standards.

Our network includes approximately 100 first-tier suppliers and 150 second-tier raw material manufacturers. Packaging components are primarily sourced from European suppliers, with a focus on mid-sized, family-owned businesses that share our commitment to quality and responsibility.
