Nordic beauty brand LUMENE has been ranked as the second most sustainable beauty brand in both Finland and Sweden, according to the Sustainable Brand Index™ survey. The ranking is based on consumer perception.
Consumers perceive LUMENE as the second responsible beauty brand both in Finland and in Sweden. The ranking is based on an annual Sustainable Brand Index™ consumer survey. Europe’s largest independent sustainability-focused survey focuses on environmental and social responsibility themes. The goal is to increase general awareness and encourages brands to invest in sustainability communications.
In the overall results, LUMENE is ranked 50th in Finland and an impressive 108th in Sweden, where it climbed a remarkable 72 spots from last year’s position of 180.

Sustainable Brand Index™ measures consumers’ sustainability perception of brands, industries and society and has been conducted annually by SB Insight since 2011 in the Nordics, the Netherlands, and the Baltics. The study comprises 1600 brands within 36 industries, and 80.000 respondents are interviewed.
Brands are selected yearly across various sectors, based on a set of independent parameters. Parameters include market share, turnover, and general brand awareness. These criteria aim to create a selection that mirrors the brands that consumers meet in their everyday lives. Brands cannot choose to be included or excluded from the study, and the annual results of Sustainable Brand Index™ are open to the public.
