Lumene Group has been recertified as a B Corporation™ across three of its brands: LUMENE, CUTRIN and IDA WARG Beauty. Since B Lab™ launched its new, more demanding V2 standards, only nine companies worldwide have achieved the certification. Lumene Group is now one of only two Nordic companies, and the only Nordic beauty company to be certified. 

Certified B Corporations are companies verified by B Lab to meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance and to have made a public commitment to stakeholder governance. LUMENE and CUTRIN brands were first certified in 2024 and have now been recertified under the new standards. IDA WARG Beauty has achieved the certification for the first time. This achievement underscores the Group’s long-term commitment to social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency, and marks the first time all three brands carry the certification together.

The most demanding standards in B Corp history 

The new B Lab Standards replace the previous points-based assessment with mandatory minimum requirements across seven impact topics covering areas such as governance, employee wellbeing, environmental impact, and community engagement. These are verified by an independent third party, with rising standards at the three- and five-year marks of each certification cycle. 

For Lumene Group, this achievement is a recognition of a journey that spans more than two decades, from launching its first upcycled ingredient to standing among the very few companies in the world to meet the highest bar B Corp certification has ever set.
